# Archive and unarchive

Archiving takes something off its shelf without deleting it. Find it again under the Archived chip, and unarchive it whenever you want it back.

Where to find it: Library › ⋯ › Archive

1. Open a card’s **⋯** menu and choose **Archive**, or select several and choose **Archive** in the bar.
2. To see archived things, press **Archived** in the shelf’s header row. The chip shows how many there are, and only appears when there is at least one.
3. To bring one back, open its **⋯** menu in the Archived and choose **Unarchive**.

A video and its guide are archived separately. Archiving a video leaves its guide on Guides, and archiving a guide leaves its video on Recordings.
