# Volume, muting and the mix

Your voice, the tab or system audio, music and sounds each have their own level under Audio & Captions › Sound, with one master level over the whole mix.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Audio & Captions › Sound

In Simple, **Your voice** under **Sound** sets the microphone **Quieter**, **Normal** or **Louder**, on takes that recorded one. Pro has every level:

- **Microphone**: Your voice.
- **Tab audio**: What the tab or the Mac played while you recorded.
- **Music and sounds**: Each track you added, with its own level.
- **Master**: One level over the whole mix. Set the tracks first.

- Each track has a mute button beside its level.
- **Solo** plays one imported track alone while you set it up.
- Every level is saved with the video, and a style can remember them if you tick **Audio levels**.
