# Camera layouts

Choose how your camera and the recording share the frame: a bubble in a corner, side by side, you alone, or the screen alone. There are 15 layouts.

Some of this is part of Studio, the paid plan.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Camera › Layout

> **Note:** Your camera records on every plan, as a bubble. The other layouts are Studio, marked with a crown. These settings show on takes that have a camera.

## In Simple

- **Camera bubble**: pick the corner it sits in.
- **Shape**: **Circle**, **Rounded** or **Square**.
- **Size**: **S**, **M** or **L**.
- **Ring**: **None**, **Thin** or **Thick**.
- **Moves itself**: steps aside for clicks and gets smaller for zooms. See [The smart camera](https://pointercam.com/help/smart-camera).

## In Pro

1. Open **Camera › Layout**.
2. Under **Arrangement**, click a layout. Each tile is drawn from the layout itself.
3. Set its size, padding or side in the rows under the tiles.

The 15 layouts are Screen only, Camera only, Camera card, Bubble, Corner bubble, Edge bubble, Sidecar, Corner card, Edge card, Screen focus, Side by side, Even split, Stacked, Banner and TV presenter.

On the free plan the camera is a bubble: Bubble, Corner bubble, Edge bubble, or hidden. The other layouts show a crown and are Studio.

- **Show camera** off gives the recording the whole frame. Your layouts are kept, just paused.
- Layouts are drawn from the frame, so a tall or square video keeps their design.
- The layout you pick here holds for the whole video, except where a layout change says otherwise.
