# Camera shape, ring, shadow and mirror

Style how your camera looks in every layout: a circle, rounded or square shape, a ring and a shadow, mirroring, framing, and how it appears and disappears.

Some of this is part of Studio, the paid plan.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Camera › Style

- **Shape**: For a bubble: **Circle**, **Rounded** or **Square**. For a card beside the recording: the recording’s own corners, or a circle, rounded or square.
- **Ring**: A ring outside the camera, so it never crops the picture. Simple offers **None**, **Thin** and **Thick**.
- **Shadow**: How strongly the camera casts a shadow. It scales with the camera’s size.
- **Mirror**: Flips the camera left to right. Off is what others see, and is right when there is text in shot.
- **Framing**: Crops into the camera picture itself, separate from the camera’s size. **Crop on the canvas** does it on the preview, on Studio.
- **Appears and disappears**: **Fade**, **Scale** or **Slide**, for when a layout brings the camera in or takes it away.

> **Tip:** On Studio, the RGB glow can light the camera’s edge too. See [Border and RGB glow](https://pointercam.com/help/border-and-glow).
