# Open, rename or export from the library

Each card has a ⋯ menu beside its name with everything you can do to it: open it, export it, make its guide, rename it, archive it or delete it.

Where to find it: Library › A card › ⋯

Click a card to open it. For everything else, click **⋯** beside the card’s name.

On a recording:

- **Open in editor**: Opens the video or screenshot.
- **Export**: Opens the video with the export sheet ready, so you can save a file without editing.
- **Make a step-by-step guide**: Turns the take into a guide. If it already has one, the menu says **Open its step-by-step guide**. Only takes with clicks have this.
- **Rename**: Type a new name and press `Return`. `Esc` keeps the old one.
- **Archive**: Moves it off the shelf without deleting it. See [Archive and unarchive](https://pointercam.com/help/archive).
- **Delete**: Deletes it for good, after asking. See [Delete things](https://pointercam.com/help/delete).

On a guide:

- **Open the guide**: Opens it in the guide editor.
- **Make a video of it**: For a guide recorded on its own: opens its take in the video editor.
- **Open the video**: For a guide made from a video: opens that video.
- **Archive guide**: Moves the guide off the Guides shelf. Its video stays where it is.
- **Delete guide**: Deletes the guide. Its video stays, unless the take was recorded only for this guide.
