# Show your clicks

Every click can leave a mark at the pointer: an orb, a ring, a press or a ripple. Pick its size and colour. Works in Chrome and Mac takes.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Cursor › Clicks

In Simple, the **Click highlights** row (for a Chrome take) or the pointer row (for a Mac take) turns marks on and sets their size, and the row under it picks the mark: **Ripple**, **Ring**, **Orb** or **Press** for a Chrome take, **Ripple**, **Ring**, **Orb** or **None** for a Mac take. In Pro, **Cursor › Clicks** has the whole choice:

- **Orb**: A glass bead that squeezes in under the press and blooms away on the release. Reads on any page.
- **Ring**: A heavy ring that opens out and thins away, for when the click is the point of the shot.
- **Press**: The picture itself dents under the press and springs back.
- **Ripple**: A ring runs out through the picture like a drop through water.
- **None**: Clicks leave no mark.

- **Effect size** and **Effect colour** set how big and what colour the mark is.
- Each mark follows both the press and the release, so a drag reads as one gesture.
- **Bounce on click**, for a Mac take, squashes the pointer itself on the click and springs it back.

> **Tip:** Marks work alongside the spotlight. See [Spotlight the pointer](https://pointercam.com/help/spotlight).
