# Delete things

Choose Delete from a card’s menu. PointerCam asks first and says what will go and how much room it frees. Deleting a video can keep its guide.

Where to find it: Library › ⋯ › Delete

1. Open a card’s **⋯** menu and choose **Delete**, or select several and choose **Delete**.
2. Read the question. It names what will be deleted and how much room it frees.
3. If the video has a guide, choose **Keep its guide** or **Delete both**. A guide you keep stays on Guides with its pictures.
4. Press **Delete** to confirm.

> **Warning:** Deleting is permanent. There is no bin to take it back from. Archive instead if you only want it out of the way.

> **Note:** A guide that was recorded on its own, with no video, takes its recording with it when you delete the guide.
