# My export stopped or failed

Reload the editor and export again. If the file is large, try a smaller File size or a lower resolution, and make sure the disk has room.

Where to find it: Video editor › Export

1. Reload the editor page, or close and reopen the video in the Mac app.
2. Open **Export** and try again.
3. If it fails again, choose **Balanced** or **Small** under **File size**, or a lower resolution.
4. Check that your disk has free room for the file.

> **Note:** Exporting runs on your computer, so a long 4K export can take a while. Keep the editor open until it finishes.

> **Tip:** Still failing? Press **Report this** where the export stopped. It sends us what went wrong, and you can see exactly what is included before it goes.
