# Frame a screenshot

Give a screenshot the same framing a video gets: a background, padding, rounded corners, a shadow, a border and a window around it, in the shape a post needs.

Where to find it: Screenshot editor › Simple › Screenshot

## In Simple

- **Look**: Styles, a background, and a shape: the screenshot’s own, **16:9**, **1:1** or **4:5**.
- **Window**: A Mac or Windows title bar around the screenshot, drawn rather than captured.
- **Frame**: Padding and shadow: **Flat**, **Soft**, **Deep** or **Lit**, a shadow lit from an angle.
- **Border**: **None**, **Line** or **Glass**.
- **Crop**: Show less of the screenshot. See [Crop a screenshot](https://pointercam.com/help/crop-a-screenshot).

## In Pro

**Canvas** has the whole **Background**, the **Screenshot** (its placement, size, frame and window) and the **Logo**. **Layers** lists everything on the picture.

> **Tip:** Saved styles work here too. A screenshot takes their background, frame and logo. See [Styles](https://pointercam.com/help/styles).
