# Keyframes

Select a zoom, a move or a crop and press K to add a keyframe at the playhead. Drag a keyframe to retime it, and click it to choose how it arrives.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Timeline › A zoom, then K

1. Select a block on the timeline, such as a zoom.
2. Move the playhead and press `K`. A diamond appears on the block. Change the zoom or framing, and that pose is held at this keyframe.
3. Add more keyframes for each pose you want.

- Drag a diamond to retime it. With it selected, `←` and `→` nudge it a frame.
- Click a diamond to choose how the move arrives at it.
- Press `⌫` to delete the selected keyframe.

Arrive by:

- **Linear**: One constant speed the whole way.
- **Settle**: Moves off briskly and settles in. The default.
- **Ease in**: Creeps away from the last pose and is still gaining speed as it lands.
- **Ease out**: Leaves at speed and slows into place.
- **In-out**: Slow at both ends, quickest in the middle.
- **Hold**: No movement. The last pose holds, then cuts to this one.

- `K`: Add a keyframe at the playhead
