# Name the clicks in Mac guides

If a Mac guide’s steps say Step 1, Step 2 instead of what you clicked, allow Accessibility for PointerCam Capture, then record again.

Only in the Mac app. In Chrome, PointerCam reads what you clicked from the page itself, so a Chrome guide names its steps with nothing to allow.

Where to find it: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility

Lets guide steps say what you clicked, like Click “Save”. Optional. macOS lists it as PointerCam Capture.

1. Choose **New Guide…** from the menu bar icon. The toolbar shows **Name clicks** while Accessibility is not allowed.
2. Press **Name clicks**, and allow it when macOS asks. Or turn on PointerCam Capture under **System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility**.
3. Record the guide again. Each step now says what you clicked, like Click “Save”.

> **Note:** Steps in a take recorded without it keep their numbers. You can type a heading for any step yourself. See [Step headings and text](https://pointercam.com/help/step-text).
