# Add a camera move

Moves are ready-made camera motions, like Focus in, Depth rise or Whip pan, that you drop on the timeline. Each has a strength, a speed and finer settings.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Zoom & Motion › Moves

1. Move the playhead to where the move should start.
2. Open **Zoom & Motion › Moves** in Pro, and pick a move. It drops at the playhead and opens its settings. You can also press **+** on the timeline and choose **Motion**.
3. Drag its block on the motion lane to move it or change its length.

- **Strength**: Between the gentle and the bold version of the move.
- **Speed**: How long the move takes. It resizes the block.
- **Blur on fast moves**: Blurs the picture while the move is fast. Turn it off when text must stay readable.
- **Follow cursor**: Aims the move at the pointer, so it stays near the middle of the picture.
- **Press on click**: Every click presses the frame in and lets it spring back.
- **Reverse**: Mirrors the move left to right.
- **Aim it**: Nudges held for the whole block: position, tilt, zoom, rotation and softness.

> **Note:** Moves never overlap. When the lane is full, trim or delete a move first.
