# My video has no close-ups

Close-ups come from the clicks PointerCam followed. A video you imported, or clicks in apps outside Chrome, have none. You can add them by hand.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Timeline › + › Zoom

## Why it happens

- **The video was imported.** A file from elsewhere has no clicks. Add close-ups by hand.
- **The clicks were in another app, recorded from Chrome.** Chrome follows clicks on web pages only. Record with the Mac app to have every app followed.
- **The zooms were removed.** Open the timeline’s **⋯** menu in Pro and choose **Regenerate zooms from clicks**.

## Add one by hand

1. Switch to **Pro** and move the playhead to the moment.
2. Press **+** on the timeline’s toolbar and choose **Zoom**.
3. Drag the block’s ends to set how long it lasts.

> **Tip:** Close-ups that are there but too strong or too weak are set with **Zoom strength** in Simple. See [Auto-zoom](https://pointercam.com/help/auto-zoom).
