# Share what you made

PointerCam makes files, not links. Export the video, guide or picture, then send it or upload it wherever your viewers are.

Nothing you make is uploaded, so there is no PointerCam link to send. Share the file itself.

- **Slack, Teams or email**: An MP4 plays inline in most chat apps. For email limits, pick **Small** under File size.
- **YouTube**: Upload the MP4, and the .srt subtitle file beside it.
- **A ticket or a README**: A GIF plays inline where video cannot.
- **A help center or wiki**: Export the step-by-step guide as a web page or Markdown, with its pictures. See [Download or copy a guide](https://pointercam.com/help/download-guide).
- **A document**: Copy the guide and paste it, or download it as a PDF or a Word file.
