# Let the camera move itself

The smart camera moves at moments the recording proves: it tucks into a corner during a zoom, steps aside for a click, and can take the frame when nothing happens.

Part of Studio, the paid plan.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Camera › Smart camera

In Simple, switch **Moves itself** on or off under Camera. In Pro, open **Camera › Smart camera** to choose what it does at each moment.

At these moments:

- **A zoom holds**: **Corner** tucks the camera into a corner, **Hide** hides it, **Hold** leaves it. **Size while zoomed** sets how big it is in the corner.
- **The screen goes quiet**: No clicks, no scrolling, the pointer parked. **Share** gives the camera half the frame, **Cut to you** gives it the whole frame, **Nothing** leaves it.
- **A click lands under the camera**: Moves the camera out of the way of clicks it would hide.

## Open and close on you

Two extra shots, off by default. **Open on camera** starts on you alone, then settles into the layout as the recording comes in. **End on camera** ends on you for a sign-off. **How long** sets each one.

> **Note:** The smart camera is Studio. On the free plan the camera stays in the corner you pick, and **Moves itself** wears a crown that opens the plan.

> **Note:** Changing a setting plans every automatic move again. Layout changes you made by hand are kept.
