# Choose and mark up a step’s picture

Pick the exact moment a step’s picture is taken from, and add arrows, text and shapes to it with the screenshot editor’s tools.

Where to find it: Guide editor › Above the picture › Step 3 of 9

## The moment

1. Open the step and press the frame chip above its picture. The frame picker opens with the moments around the click.
2. Click the moment you want.
3. Fold the picker away again for a bigger picture.

## Marking it up

The tools on the left are the screenshot editor’s: text, arrows, shapes, numbered badges, icons and blur. What you add belongs to that one step. **Layers on this step** in Pro lists it, with the marker, the pointer, the spotlight and any covers.

> **Tip:** To hide something on every step it shows up in, use a cover instead. See [Hide things in a guide](https://pointercam.com/help/guide-covers).
