# Step headings and text

Each step’s heading is written from what you clicked, marked Automatic. Type over it to make it yours, add text under it, and add a tip, a warning or a note.

Where to find it: Guide editor › Under the picture › The step’s title

## The heading

A step’s heading starts as the line PointerCam wrote, like Click “Billing”, tagged **Automatic**. Click it and type to make it your own, tagged **Yours**. Click **Yours** to go back to the automatic line.

## The text

Under the heading, write what to click and why. Leave it empty if the heading says it all.

## Tips, warnings and notes

1. Press **+ Tip** beside the step’s words.
2. Choose **Tip**, **Warning** or **Note**, and write it.

- **Tip**: A quicker way, or something worth knowing. In the guide’s colour.
- **Warning**: Something to watch out for before doing this. In amber.
- **Note**: An aside for the reader. In grey.

Each kind’s colour can be changed for the whole guide under **Callouts** in Simple.

> **Note:** In a Mac guide, headings need Accessibility allowed while you record. See [Name the clicks in Mac guides](https://pointercam.com/help/mac-click-names).
