# Put a browser or Mac window around the recording

Draw a clean window around your take: a browser with an address bar that follows the pages you visited, or a macOS or Windows title bar.

Where to find it: Video editor › Pro › Scene › Window

In Simple, the **Window** row offers **None**, **Mac** and **Windows**. Pro has more, under **Scene › Window**:

- **None**: Just the recording.
- **Minimal**: One slim bar with controls and an address pill.
- **Browser**: A full browser with a tab strip and a toolbar.
- **Window**: A title bar with your icon and title, in the macOS or Windows style.

## The address and title

With **Follow the recording** on, the address, the tab’s title and its icon change as the recording moves between pages. Turn it off to type your own **URL** and **Title**.

## Finer settings

- **Bar colour** and **Title colour**, or **Auto**.
- Your app’s icon, in the title bar and on the tab: **Add your icon…**
- **Traffic lights** or **Caption buttons**, which you can turn off for a plainer bar.
- **Frame around the picture** extends the bar’s colour down the sides, with its **Thickness** and **Inner corners**.
- **Captured screen** trims the edges of the recording. **Auto** trims the Mac’s menu bar and Dock, and a browser’s own toolbar.

> **Note:** The window is drawn by PointerCam, not captured, so it stays sharp at any size.
