Where to find it
- Video editor
- Pro
- Scene
- Edges
Open Scene › Edges and pick Fade top, Fade bottom, Fade sides or Fade edges. None turns it off.
What it fades
- The recording
- The recording and its frame dissolve into the background. Your camera and callouts stay sharp.
- Everything
- The whole picture fades to transparent, background included, for a video that will sit on top of something else.
- Falloff shapes the fade: Soft, Natural, Even or Hard.
- Adjust sets each edge’s fade, and a vignette’s size, reach and roundness.
